You are formally invited to participate in Jacob Hawley’s
self-portraiture show, tentatively entitled Identity, to be held in
Oxford, Iowa during the Fall of 2002-03. This will entail using
the included camera to take twelve self-portraits of yourself. 
A starting point for the self-portraits could be taking your
picture in a random mirror or possibly at arms length, but the
ultimate decision is up to you. One selected photograph from
your twelve will then be made in to a black and white silkscreen
print to be displayed with other selected portraits.

Many parts make up an identity and people make up a large
part of mine.  So please, take this little camera around with you
for a few days and take your own picture when you feel it is
necessary.  Included is a camera, return postage, and return labels.
